Target group: Teachers who teach in a seminar room (size 30) or workstation room and are not yet familiar with the SMART Board® or would like to refresh their know-how.

A SMART Board® (interactive whiteboard) is available in all seminar rooms at WU. You can use it as a blackboard or whiteboard replacement and it supports you in making lessons more dynamic. The SMART Board® has a touch-sensitive surface and is operated with the finger or a special pen. It allows you to navigate web pages and programs, write and draw on digital pages or in applications, and insert, move, and modify content.

In this compact introduction, you will learn the basics of using the SMART Board®. You will have the opportunity to write on the SMART Board® yourself and receive practical tips.

Contents:

  • Use pen, finger, sponge & gestures

  • Write, draw, insert, move & group objects

  • Use special views (full screen, double-sided display, etc.)

  • Use the dynamic toolbar

  • Include graphics & screenshots

  • Use integrated presentation tools (e.g. curtain, magic pen)

  • Expand, save & export digital pages
