The 10^th Convention for Didactics of Business Education took place on February 19, 2025 under our motto Business Education meets School.

The event offered a sound platform for an exchange between teachers, practitioners and experts from the field of business education.

At the beginning of the convention, Ricardo-José Vybiral from KSV1870 posed the question: "How is the Austrian economy doing?" In his presentation, he gave important facts and figures that shed light on the current state of the Austrian economy and provided food for thought.

Bettina Fuhrmann then spoke about WU Wien's "Business Case Challenge 2025" and invited the teachers to motivate their highschool students to take part in this exciting competition.

After the two keynotes, the convention continued in four thematically focused tracks (roughly described as suggestions for teaching accounting/business administration, financial education, artificial intelligence and sustainable education). These presentations were given by members of the Institute for Business Education (Wipäd) as well as external experts and practitioners from business and administration.

As it has become a tradition, the convention ended with the Wipäd Forum, which offered participants the opportunity to engage in a lively exchange about current developments in business education and to gain new perspectives.

We hope that the 10^th Convention for Didactics of Business Education was able to provide new, directly applicable ideas for didactical design and implementation of class. We lool forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration within the Wipäd community and to seeing you again in person at the 11^th Convention for Didactics of Business Education in Vienna!
