07.04.2022: ibw and Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wirtschaft und Schule (AWS) – an attractive Employer for BE Graduates?
At the 13th Professional Prosecco after a Corona break, Mr. Josef Wallner [last access: 11.09.2024], Deputy Managing Director at the Institute for Educational Research of the Economy, once again gave an interesting insight into dual education in Austria. "Learning by doing" is clearly the main focus for the more than 100,000 apprentices, but does not replace the part of school-based training that is taught in the subject-specific vocational school. On the one hand, of course, it is important to teach specific subjects and, on the other, to deepen general knowledge. After an informative round of information, the opportunity to talk to Mr. Wallner personally over a glass of Prosecco was highly appreciated.

Why is my credit rating more important than ever?
And why is financial education so essential for young people?
The 12th Professional Prosecco took place on Monday, December 2, 2019. This time, the guest speaker was none other than the CEO of the credit protection association Ricardo-José Vybiral [last accessed: 11.09.2024]! In his course instructor, he not only presented KSV's extensive field of activity. He also explained why the provision of economic education is becoming increasingly relevant to the credit protection association's agenda. In the discussion that followed, many exciting opportunities for cooperation between KSV and the Institut für WiPäd were discussed. The evening ended with a glass of Prosecco and a relaxed atmosphere.
We hope to welcome Ricardo-José Vybiral as a course instructor again soon. His family, who were present that evening, are also always welcome. In this sense, it was a feast for us.
