Acquired Qualifications

The specialization in Business Training & Education Management focuses on in-house training and continuing education. The complementary qualification as a business trainer is aimed in particular at those students who would like to work as fully-fledged in-house trainers in the field of education and knowledge transfer in the future. After completing the specialization in Business Training & Education Management, graduates have the following qualifications:

  • Knowing and being able to help shape the process in continuing education systems: Knowing and being able to use strategies and instruments of continuing education needs assessment, knowledge transfer, program planning as well as continuing education evaluation and controlling.

  • Being able to design seminars both at the macro level (seminar structure planning) and at the micro level (content development and knowledge transfer).

  • Being able to structure learning processes in a theory-based way and support them visually.

  • Being able to use methods of business didactics with special consideration of continuing education appropriate to the target group.

  • Being able to professionally plan, implement and evaluate eLearning strategies in continuing education.

The primary fields of professional activity for which graduates of the specialization Business Training & Education Management are particularly qualified:

  • Trainers in the field of continuing education (self-employed/in-company)

  • Continuing education management in the human resources sector

  • Planning and implementation of eLearning projects and seminars etc.

  • Fields of activity in the tertiary education sector (Wifi etc.)

  • Consultatory professions (e. g. coaching, education, personnel consulting, tax consulting)

The Business Training & Education Management program is primarily aimed at qualification for training activities in the field of continuing education. It is therefore strongly recommended that you also choose modules from the wide range of Social Skills courses (e. g. moderation techniques, presentations, etc.), as only a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge can guarantee an optimal for your professional life.
