The full professors of WU Vienna University of Economics and Business are associated based on the institutional framework defined in § 56 of the By-Laws of WU, and they are in regular consultations with the Rector’s Council (see meeting schedule).

There are currently 134 full professors employed at WU Vienna (as of August 2024), and they form the Full Professors’ Association (Kurie der Universitätsprofessor*innen).

The aim of the regular meetings is to ensure that the Full Professors’ Association can work efficiently and constructively and to optimize the communication between WU’s full professors and the university management. The association makes its decisions on a broad basis, and it serves as a platform for consultations and discussions about current developments at the university, its curricula, and its further development and expansion. At the same time, the association also offers a space for discussions which, if necessary, are also extended to include the other groups represented in the WU Senate.
