Titel & Abstract:  How technology can disrupt the internal audit process?

Technology is a driving factor in repositioning internal auditing. However, on the one hand the choice of technology and on the other hand the subsequent integration of the technology is not trivial. Therefore, various of our research projects aim to empirically investigate technology drivers and the effects of their use. The technology spectrum ranges from RPA and data analytics to process mining, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
