Is it possible to work while studying in the program?
The MSc Marketing at WU is a two-year, full-time, and on campus program. Working in the 1st year is not recommended due to the intense courses with dense schedule.
Experience has shown that with good time-management skills, it is possile for some students to combine working 10h/week with studying in our program. However, that may come at the expense of your free time and social life.
To gain work experience during your studies in our program we recommend you opt for summer internships, part-time working student positions, tutor or research assistant positions at WU, and a part-time inernship / traineeship / regular work position in the 4th semester when the classes usually have a blocked format.
Can I apply for the MSc Marketing if I haven't finished my bachelor's degree yet?
Our application requirements state that a relevant bachelor's degree of 180 ECTS with 45 ECTS in the field of business administration must be completed.
It is not necessary to have completed the relevant bachelor's degree program at the time of the application. The proof of completion of your degree program is required only for the actual enrollment once you are accepted into our master.
A pre-evaluation of the application documents by WU is not possible. For clarifications, please contact WU’s Admissions Office.
How and when can I apply?

Are there any opportunities to study abroad?
Students can apply for an exchange semester at one of the universities from WU's wide network of 140 partner universities. About 50% of our students choose to complete a semester abroad in place of the electives in the 3rd semester.
If you are looking for a longer experience abroad, we also have a Double Degree program with Bocconi in Milan, Italy, which takes place during the whole second year.
The applications take place in the 1st semester. During the kick-off course for our program, we hold a special Study Abroad info session where we provide all the relevant information and details.
