In case you consider these options, please note: These dorms are located in the Seestadt Aspern, an area recently developed and rather isolated from the rest of the city. The advantages of these dorms are that they are one of the best options in terms of value for money and that the area is well connected. The subway line U2 (purple line) has a direct connection to WU and the city center. Commuting time to WU is approximately 20 minutes to the city center (Karlsplatz 35 minutes). Keep in mind that Vienna's subway system does not run 24 hours on weekdays. The last subway runs around 00:15pm. Afterwards, nightline busses are the only public transport option. Seestadt is not well connected by night busses yet and it will take you up to 1,5 hours, two transfers and a 15 minutes walk to get home after midnight during the week.
