Last week at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), our Practitioner Seminar Talks welcomed Barbora Piovarova and Gennaro Miele from Porsche Bank AG for an eye-opening session on how gamification, data, and sentiment analysis are revolutionizing the future of mobility insurance.

Barbora introduced us to insurance telematics - a usage-based model where an app connects with the car via Bluetooth. This enables the tracking of driving behavior as well as performance scoring and rewards safe drivers with exclusive discounts - all implemented in Porsche Bank's Smart Driver App. She brought the concept to life with real marketing campaigns, showcasing how Porsche Bank AG strategically engages its audience through marketing automation.

Gennaro then took the stage demonstrating how machine learning helps decode customer emotions and refine communication strategies in the backend of the app. By analyzing feedback, Porsche Bank ensures a seamless, engaging, and personalized digital experience in its Smart Driver App.
