Workshop on Wealth Inequality, Intergenerational Mobility and Equality of Opportunity, November 2024

We are excited to announce a workshop on Wealth Inequality, Intergenerational Mobility, and Equality of Opportunity, organized by the Research Institute Economics of Inequality at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, in collaboration with the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research. The workshop will center on the measurement, causes, and consequences of wealth inequality, intergenerational mobility, and equality of opportunity.

Keynote lectures will be delivered by Susan Dynarski, Patricia Albjerg Graham Professor of Education at Harvard University, and Fabian Pfeffer, Professor of Sociology at LMU Munich. Submissions of full papers and extended abstracts are invited by May 15, 2024. The decision on acceptance will be communicated by June 15, 2024. For submission and further details, please visit here.
