Step 1: Requirements

To be admitted to the Master’s Program in Taxation and Accounting, you must have completed a relevant degree program at a recognized postsecondary educational institution. Prerequisites for the Master’s Program include:

  • The program must comprise at least 180 ECTS credits (corresponding to three academic years).

  • 70 ECTS credits in business administration/economics OR 90 ECTS credits in law

  • 12 ECTS credits in accounting

  • 12 ECTS credits in tax law, with at least 6 ECTS credits worth of exams on Austrian tax law. If you haven’t earned enough ECTS credits in the field of tax law, you can earn the required credits by taking supplementary exams.

German skills

Please note that sufficient German skills are required.
At the latest, you’ll have to present proof of your German skills when you carry out the enrollment for the program.
