Kim Melissa Bär is a Research and Teaching Associate who studies innovation ecostyems.

Kim Melissa Bär's research interests centers on grand challenges in particular climate change and its potential impact on business models. 

She holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Vienna with a specialization on Strategic Management. She completed her master's thesis by developing a framework for measuring industry-wide hierarchical depth. Previously, she studied business administration at the University of Cologne. During her time abroad, she gained experience at Korea University and Nova Information Management School (Portugal). 

In addition, she gained practical experience in strategic marketing during her time at Erste Bank and American Express in the financial services sector and worked as a project manager in the cultural sector.
