Strategic Pausing

BK

In today's high-performance university environment, taking breaks is often seen as a sign of weakness or inefficiency. However, scientific research proves otherwise: Strategic pausing is a crucial skill for peak cognitive performance and sustainable academic success. This workshop reveals why our brain needs purposeful breaks and how to use them as a powerful tool for enhanced productivity. Drawing from neuroscience research, we'll explore how strategic pausing can actually accelerate your academic performance instead of slowing it down.
Bettina Kapfer combines her expertise as a lawyer and psychologist to help ambitious professionals and students achieve their goals without sacrificing their wellbeing. After experiencing the impact of insufficient recovery periods during her own parallel careers in law and psychology studies, she now specializes in evidence-based stress management and focuses on building resilience. Her approach doesn't focus on lowering ambitions but on achieving more through strategic energy management.
