Equal opportunities and gender equality

Promoting gender balance in all university departments is an essential part of WU's diversity management. One of the greatest challenges is to eliminate the underrepresentation of highly qualified women at the higher hierarchical levels in academia.

Figures on gender ratios are collected annually at WU for different areas and published in the Equal Opportunities Report. Based on the gender monitoring data, WU's gender equality measures are continuously (further) developed.
