On Oc­to­ber 18th 2013, the WU Glo­bal Tax Po­li­cy Cen­ter at the In­sti­tu­te for Aus­tri­an and In­ter­na­tio­nal Tax Law hosted the fifth in the se­ries of tax po­li­cy dis­cus­sions bet­ween Prof. Jef­frey Owens and lea­ding play­ers in the field of tax po­li­cy. The "Tax Po­li­cy Fire Side Chats" focus on is­su­es which are cur­r­ent­ly preoc­cu­py­ing go­vernments, busi­ness and civil so­cie­ty and en­able a wide au­di­ence to par­ti­ci­pa­te in these po­li­cy de­ba­tes.

Jef­frey was joi­ned by Mr Mi­cha­el Sell who is the Di­rec­tor Ge­ne­ral at the Ger­man Fe­deral Mi­nis­try of Fi­nan­ce - Tax De­part­ment and toge­ther they dis­cus­sed "Emer­ging in­ter­na­tio­nal tax po­li­cy is­su­es in a post BEPS world".

This was part of the In­sti­tu­te's Ope­ning Event and was the first edi­ti­on of the Fire Side Chat se­ries to be held at the WU's new cam­pus.
