The Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law is among the largest academic institutions in the world doing research on and teaching about tax law. We are proud to be part of the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Our main fields of interest are Corporate tax law, International tax law and European tax law. Most of our research activities deal with issues in these areas. This is true of our teaching activities as well. On a daily basis, we are aware of the fact that our research activities ensure the quality of our teaching, and that, vice versa, teaching helps us to develop, structure and discuss research ideas. Therefore, both research and teaching focus mainly on Corporate tax law, International tax law and European tax law.

Numerous scientific publications, conferences, symposia, lectures as well as our trainings in Austria and abroad help disseminate our Institute's results of research internationally and make them publically available.
