How did you learn about the Buenos Aires Global Marketing Program and why did you choose to participate?

  • Cennet Sude Aytac: I heard about the ISP from a colleague of mine, who participated last year in the Buenos Aires Global Marketing Program. She could not stop talking about how incredible it was and convinced me to participate.

  • Georgy Arzamanov: I learned about it online through the website of the International Office where different opportunities of studying abroad are presented. I always admired Argentinian culture and considering my passion for marketing, this program was a perfect fit.

How did participating in the Buenos Aires Global Marketing Program help you with personal, professional, and academic development?

  • Cennet Sude Aytac: Participating in the Buenos Aires Global Marketing Program was incredibly enriching for me on all levels. The short program opened a new world to me: It became apparent to me how globalized our world truly is. We have almost the same interests as Argentinian students who are 13.000 kilometers away.

  • Georgy Arzamanov: The lectures were entertaining and informative. I think everyone who participated in this program will agree with me that every single lecture was beneficial for skills and self-development. The material we learnt will definitely be useful for our professional future.

What can you tell us about the program? What was your impression?

  • Semra Bujak: I found the academic program excellent because I have a passion for marketing and international business. The daily lectures of 3-4 hours were enjoyable, as you had time for both: to work on the project and to explore the city. What I also liked about the short program was that we had a city tour, tango dance lessons, and exciting company visits.

How did you like the social and cultural program? Did you have enough opportunities to make new contacts?

  • Semra Bujak: We have already connected on the first day during the welcome lunch. The Argentinian students were so friendly and invited us everywhere. They showed us how to make Mate and even shared it with us. After the lectures, we went out eating together and, on the evenings, we went to some bars, too. I honestly think that our group was amazing.

  • Cennet Sude Aytac: I made great contact with all the Argentinian students during the short program. We met up a lot together. Luckily, we are still in touch via social media and WhatsApp. I felt extremely welcome!

What was your personal highlight or your favorite memory about this program?

  • Georgy Arzamanov: Personally, I enjoyed every activity organized by the partner university. However, the visit to Toyota's main production facility in South America impressed me the most. It was incredible to see how hundreds of people work together to produce dozens of cars in an hour.

  • Semra Bujak: I can't just choose one personal highlight because there were so many. Every time we did something together with the Argentinians, it was great because the atmosphere was unbelievably good. One of my favorite memories is definitely our group weekend trip to the Iguazú Falls.
