Re-Registration Deadline for the 2024 /25 Winter Semester
To continue your studies and remain enrolled at WU, you have to re-register every semester. To re-register for the winter semester, please pay the applicable tuition fees/ÖH dues by October 31, 2024. If you do not re-register by the deadline, you will be un-enrolled and you will no longer be able to take any exams, apply for a credit transfer or submit your final thesis.

Master’s Day on October 18, 2024
During the WU Master's Day, our lecturers will give you a first-hand insight into WU’s Master’s programs. Topics such as structure, content and career prospects will be discussed. Current master’s students will tell you all about what it’s like to pursue a master’s degree, and graduates will talk about their careers after their studies.
The talks will cover the following:
Is a master’s program at WU Vienna right for me? What are the programs about, what do they focus on?
How do I apply? What do I need to know about application periods, entrance exams and admissions?
What job opportunities and career prospects do I have after completing a master’s program?
What do students say about their master's programs?

Application Deadline for WU’s English-Taught Master’s Programs
The application period for our English-taught master’s programs Priority Deadline I (rolling admission) starting in the 2025/26 winter semester is open until October 8, 2024.
At the time of application, you do not need a completed bachelor’s program. To apply, please use our online application tool.
The earlier you apply, the earlier you will be notified of the status of your application.
Please note: the last chance to apply for the International Management/CEMS program, is until January 8, 2025. There is no Priority Deadline III.

WU Mobility Grant Special Support for Bachelor’s and Master’s Students
This special support is designed for you if you are facing significant financial challenges when thinking of studying abroad. For this grant you need to fulfill certain criteria, and you need to apply before the exchange application periods. This makes it easier for the applicants to plan their exchange.
This special support is only possible for countries with WU mobility grant. Please see the website for details.

Application Period: ISP Buenos Aires
The “Buenos Aires Global Marketing Program” for bachelor’s students (advanced) is a three-week program organized in cooperation with the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. It takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina from February 3, 2025 to February 21, 2025. Studying intensively abroad for a couple of weeks – sounds good, right!? Please visit our website to learn more.

THE Event “Go Global” 2024
Get international with our popular event "Go Global"! This year it will take place in the LC building on October 23, 2024 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. All International Office staff will be available to answer your questions. In the Speaker's Corner, former exchange students will talk about their experiences and will also be happy to answer your questions. Other WU-internal and external partners will also be on site, e.g. some WU service institutions, embassies and scholarship offices.

Bachelor’s Students: New Application Procedure for Exchange Stays Abroad
The application for an exchange semester abroad has changed. The new features include:
Application Form instead of motivation letter
One application period for Europe & overseas
Second allocation round in January
With only one application you can choose three to seven partner universities
Also the application for BBE Double Degree has changed.
Application period Double Degree (only BBE), November 4, 2024, 2:00pm – November 8, 2024, 2:00pm
Application period Europe & overseas, December 2, 2024, 2:00pm – December 6, 2024, 2:00pm

Bachelor’s Students: New Workshop “Interview Ready”
Prepare in the best possible way for the interview in the new application procedure with our brand new workshop: „Interview Ready: Prepare for Your Stay Abroad Application”! WU ZBP Career Center and the International Office will go through relevant content with you, prepare you for the interview and give you tips on facial expressions, gestures, relaxation... A really interesting workshop!

Spare Places in Language Courses at WU Business Language Center
We still have some free spots in our language courses for German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and many other languages. You can register either online or at Sprachlernzentrum. Courses start from October 14. If you want to join the tandem language learning program make sure to register by October 5.
Improve Your Language Skills in Our Language Café
Join our Language Café and improve your language skills in a relaxed atmosphere. The next Language Café takes place October 21 from 5.30pm for German, Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Italian. No need to register, just come to the Language Resource Center and join the conversation.
Need to Read: Textbooks for Your Courses
The library's textbook collection contains important literature for your courses (e.g. STEOP & CBK).
Textbooks with a focus on business, economics and social sciences are located in the Central Library on level 3.
Legal textbooks are available in the Library for Law next to the front desk.
read!t Reading Lists
You can find the literature you need for your courses in the WU course catalog. The read!t tool gives you direct access to electronic (text)books and articles (don't forget to activate VPN!).
