List of aids used
A list of aids used supplements the correct citation in the context of an academic paper. Below you will find information on which aids used must be documented in each case. Please note any other requirements of your supervisor.
Why do I create a list of aids used?
In the course of the rapid developments in the field of generative artificial intelligence, it is important and necessary to clearly disclose the tools and aids used during your studies in order to ensure the necessary transparency and to clearly present your personal work performance. For you as students, this disclosure is an important safeguard against any accusations of academic fraud.
Which aids are listed?
All aids used are recorded in the list of aids used, regardless of whether they are AI-based. This means that the list of aids used supplements citations, bibliographies and source lists and the description of methods and tools used in the thesis, but does not replace them. If no tools were used, it is recommended that this is also recorded transparently in a list of tools.
