BYOD Exams

  • BYOD stands for "bring your own device".

  • You use your own device for BYOD exams. If you do not have your own device, you can request a replacement device in advance.

  • The exams take place at WU under supervision.

The exams take place in a classroom or a WU Plug & Study room. In the Plug & Study rooms, each workstation has a large monitor, a mouse, a keyboard and a cable bundle. You can connect your own device to the monitor, which makes it easier for you to work with software (e.g. SPSS).   

We distinguish between two types of BYOD exams:
  • regular BYOD exams (see point 1)

  • BYOD exams with software, so-called BYOD+ exams (see point 2). Virtual PC workstations are available for these, on which the software required for the test is installed
