Short Program "Managing for Tomorrow"

“Managing for Tomorrow: Solving the Sustainability Puzzle” is a short-term study program,which is jointly organized by University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Gies College of Business, and WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. Participation in this program is also open to students from the ENGAGE.EU alliance.

On the basis of insights into current and future challenges affecting businesses around the globe (including climate change, population dynamics, urbanization, inequity, etc.), students learn to analyze their implications on business strategy, management, and other core business functions.

Important information:

  • Program dates: May 20-30, 2025

  • Location: WU Vienna

  • Application (for ENGAGE.EU students): November 25 (2pm CET) - December 15 (2pm CET), 2024 via the website below (link will be posted upon the start of the application period)

  • Online info session for interested ENGAGE.EU students: December 9, 2024 at 18:00 Vienna time
