Enrollment period for the 2024/25 winter semester: July 10, 2024 to September 12, 2024

If the evaluation of your online application has shown that you meet the admission requirements, you’ll be notified by email. To be admitted to the program, you’ll have to present originals (stamped and signed or has to bear a verifiable digital signature by your university) of the following documents in the Study Service Center (this does not apply to WU students):

  • Official notification of conferral of your degree

  • Final Transcript

  • Diploma Supplement

  • Valid passport

  • In case of a change of name: official notification/certificate (e.g. marriage certificate, official notification of change of name)

  • Proof of an existing Austrian student ID number (student ID card, enrollment information sheet [Studienblatt] or enrollment confirmation)

To complete your admission, please follow the steps indicated below:

If you’ve previously completed a WU degree program:

Please write an email during the admission period to master.zulassung@wu.ac.at from your WU account or from a private email address with a copy of your ID card.

If you studied at WU at some point in the past:

Please come to the Study Service Center and present your documents at the admissions desk for Austrian students. Please also bring your WU student ID card.

If you’ve never studied at WU before:

Please make an appointment using the online pre-registration tool and present the required documents in the Study Service Center.

We recommend that you complete your admission at the beginning of the admission period, if possible. You’ll only be able to sign up for courses once your admission has been completed. Successful completion of the courses at the beginning of the semester is a prerequisite for taking further courses.
