From SMT to MCA: The new year brings us a new Institute label

Since January 1st our Institute’s name has changed to Marketing & Customer Analytics (MCA). This new label recognizes that our research focus and teaching skills are not constrained by industry specific boundaries. Our ambition is rather to generate, cultivate and disseminate both substantive and leading-edge methodological expertise in the field of marketing and customer analytics.

Using advanced analytics tools we help enabling marketing professionals to improve their decision making and leverage data to drive their organizations’ bottom lines. Because of the particularly interesting and dynamic marketing landscapes, however, we continue to focus on (digital and traditional) service business settings and tourism as key application industries of our research and teaching.
