Irene Monasterolo organizes COP25 side event at UN Climate Change Conference in Madrid

This year, Irene Monasterolo, Assistant Professor of Climate Economics and Finance, will co-organize a side event at the UN Climate Change Conference UNFCCC COP25 conference in Madrid on 9 December 2019 with Univ. of Zurich, ClimateWorks and EC JRC.

The event is entitled "Assessing climate transition risk and scaling up climate investments" and will feature speakers from the Network for Greening the Financial System (OeNB, ECB, Banco de Espana), European Commission's DG CLIMA and JRC, financial regulators, EIB and NGOs (ClimateWorks, InplementarSur).
