Gloria Becerril studied Communication Sciences at La Salle University in Mexico. Shortly after completing her studies, she began her professional career at E.Life as Business Manager. She was responsible for customer relations, lead generation, and online brand reputation analysis, further developing her expertise in sales, account management, and customer satisfaction.

Gloria later broadened her international experience by studying Corporate English and a Media & Arts program at EF London. Upon returning to Mexico, she assumed the position of Executive Assistant to the Plant Manager at Continental Automotive's Morelos plant. In 2017 she transitioned to Lexema Media in Mexico City, as a Project Manager.

In 2020, Gloria pursued a Master’s degree in Local Development at the University of Padua, in Italy. During her studies, she had the opportunity to complete an Erasmus traineeship in Vienna, where she took on the role of podcast producer for the Central Europe Explained podcast series.

In 2025, Gloria joined the WU community as MSc Marketing Program Manager and Executive Assistant to the Head of the Department of Marketing. Currently, she manages the logistics and organization of the Marketing Research Seminar Series, while also supporting various administrative and academic initiatives for the MSc Marketing program.
