Rainer Baier reports back from his teaching-exchange-experience at the Malaya University:

In May 2023 I had the privilege of teaching at the Universiti Malaya in Kuala Lumpur for a week. I was warmly welcomed by the professors of the Department of Management and Marketing (photo1) who have supported me in the best possible way during my stay there.

I was able to introduce and teach the topic of "Data-Driven Decision Making with Power BI".

My teaching experience was challenging and very enriching at the same time as the students already had (some) expert knowledge, paired with a high level of social skills. While preparing and conducting my classes, I was supported by the professors in every way.

In addition to my teaching engagement, I also met Mr. Sanjeev Raj Gopal, the Inbound Mobility Program Coordinator of the International Office of the Universiti Malaya, in order to discuss the ongoing cooperation agreement regarding the student exchange between the Universiti Malaya and WU. The friendliness and the support of my colleagues and students at the Universiti Malaya made my stay in Kuala Lumpur a very memorable one for the years to come.
