Vienna’s universities are opening their doors for the annual children’s university program again. This year, the program has hit a new record: Over 4,500 children have signed up to get a first glimpse of what it’s like to study at a university. The two-week program takes place at a total of seven locations in Vienna, including WU Vienna, which offers a focus on business and economics on July 16 and 17.

Lectures, seminars, and workshops are held to encourage the little students to learn, ask questions, and participate. The program introduces a new generation to the world of science and research. As in real student life, the kids receive their own student ID card, and they even get to participate in a graduation ceremony at the end of the program.

The Vienna Children’s University is one of the largest children’s universities in Europe and has been inspiring young explorers since 2003.
