This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Erika Ummenberger-Zierler, Head of the Competition Policy and Law Department at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy, to our guest lecture series “Praxisdialog”. She used many cases to show us how comprehensively the legal framework influences marketing decisions and gave us an insight into how national regulations and EU directives are established. Above all, however, it became clear that the experts in competition law are not running out of topics, as new issues that need to be regulated are constantly emerging. Recent examples include dynamic pricing in stationary retail and the sustainability claims that currently pop up everywhere. Thank you very much for this exciting guest lecture!
