Guest lecture and project launch with Polestar

Our guest lecture series “Praxisdialog” started the summer semester 2022 with a presentation by Lukas Steiner, who is responsible for strategy and business development at Polestar. The company, which has been operating in Austria since 2021, stands out not only for the captivating product design of its electric-powered automobiles, but also for its innovative sales approach. Anyone wishing to buy a Polestar can view it in advance in the showroom and also book a test drive, but the car must then be purchased online. This semester, the participants of the Retail Marketing Consulting course will take a close look at what this means for the customer journey and investigate the challenges this sales approach poses for touchpoint management.
