Working in Vienna

There is a wide selection of student jobs (both full and part-time) available in Vienna. The services of the WU ZBP Career Center are available mainly to WU students and graduates looking for a job. In addition, many daily newspapers and the Austrian Students’ Union (ÖH) also have online job-hunting portals.

International students (with a valid residence permit for students - "Aufenthaltsbewilligung - Studierender") require a work permit to work in Austria. If you have specific questions about working in Austria, please contact the Public Employment Service Austria (AMS) or the Österreichischen Austauschdienst (OeAD).
