Make sure you update all the relevant drivers for your webcam and microphone. Turn off the sleeping mode of your webcam.

Turn off the sleeping mode on your exam device (laptop or computer).
Make sure you take the entrance exam in a quiet environment and without possible external interruptions. No other person is allowed to be present for the duration of the entrance exam. If any external interruptions are captured on the photos or the voice detection taken for the identity control throughout the exam, you run the risk of being excluded from the further selection procedure.
Make sure your web camera is in a position that leaves you clearly visible throughout the entire entrance exam. This should apply even if you slightly change your (head's) position.
Do not face any (strong) light sources with your back. E.g., do not sit with a window or a strong lamp in your back. Do not directly sit under a strong lamp.
Do not wear anything that obscures or alters your face, like face masks, scarfs, hats, sunglasses etc. (Reading) glasses are permitted, as they will not interfere with the face recognition software.
Try to avoid covering your face with your hands.
Make sure your face is clearly visible, so that you can be identified easily when the webcam takes a photograph of you. Check for sufficient light in the room and, in particular, on your face. Take a few test pictures, so you can check if your face is sufficiently visible.
Do not leave your desk during the entrance exam.
Please note: If you do not comply with these guidelines and recommendations, you may be excluded from the selection procedure. You are solely responsible for meeting all (technical) requirements. |
