At the WU Library, we are committed to sustainable resource management, which includes maintaining books and restoring books when necessary.

In our bookbinding workshop, our skilled staff provide paperback books with hardcover bindings, enhancing their durability and stability on the shelf. If pages become torn or loose, we reinforce them with suitable material so that a book does not always have to be purchased again immediately.

Even books damaged by moisture can sometimes be saved for further use. We dry them in our workshop, flatten the pages using a book press, and trim the edges if necessary.
