Right before the holidays, we had Corinne Post join the Female Scholarship Program with a talk on “Pulling the Research Thread: From DEI Studies to Corporate Governance Research, with a Foray into the Field of Operations Management”.

Corinne is a Professor of Management at Villanova School of Business with a research focus on diversity, boards of directors, and top management teams. In her talk, she highlighted how some papers may become pivotal to your career, the importance of claiming your contributions, and how to best transition to new research areas. Our Female Scholar community got to not only learn about Corinne’s research but also discuss how to strategically build a career in academia.
