SBWL Application form

Attention:

Before you submit your application via the form below, please pay attention to the following points.

  1. Please label your documents/folders properly:
    Last name_First name_DocumentXY; e.g.: Smith_Jane_MotivationLetter

  2. Only upload the transcript of records of your current degree, no high school or secondary school graduation transcript ( “Matura” or “Abitur” certificate, A-Levels, etc.)

  3. Your motivation letter must be written in English.

  4. As proof of English language skills we accept one or more of the following documents:
    a) Your grade in "English Business Communication 1",
    b) Standardised test certificates (such as TOEFL, Cambridge-Test, etc.),
    c) High school/secondary school leaving certificate from an English language school
    If you cannot provide us with any of the documents listed above, please lay out in your application how you have obtained the necessary English skills to participate in our SBWL.

  5. Save all documents as PDF and compress them into a single ZIP file before submitting.

  6. The deadline for the application is September 4th, 2024.
    If you are experiencing technical issues with the application form, we ask that you send the documents via E-Mail to iod@wu.ac.at BEFORE the deadline ends.
    Any applications and application documents we receive after September 4th, 2024, will not be considered!

  7. After you have reviewed your entries on the application form you have to klick "confirm" in order to finish the application process. If you see a "Thank you for your application!" note, your submission was successful. You will also receive an automatically generated E-mail confirming your application.

Please note that the evaluation of the applications takes several days.

We therefore kindly ask that you refrain from sending messages to the IOD team asking about the state of your application. This kind of messages will not be answered due to limited time resources.

Positively evaluated students will be informed via E-mail and are then given the opportunity to accept or decline the spot offered. Declined spots will be offered to students on the waiting list.

Please enter your grades below. If you did not attend a course or the grade does not show up on your Transcript of Records, use "-".
False statements will result in an exclusion from the evaluation process.

If you took additional EBC courses, please state the course number and your grade here.
List all proof of English proficiency documents that you will provide (Standardised test certificates such as TOEFL, Cambridge etc; High school/secondary school leaving certificate from an English language school,...)

REQUIRED: Letter of motivation (you have to use the template provided by the IOD), CV, Transcript of records
OPTIONAL: Certificates, etc.

Please compress all attachments into a single .zip file; the file size must not exceed 10 MB.

Some of the lessons of the SBWL “Strategy & Organization” will be documented in the form of photos and video recordings. I acknowledge that by participating in the classes of the SBWL, I give my consent to the publication of those photos and video recordings.
