Annette Mann, MBA

Annette Mann

Annette Mann was born on December 31, 1977 and grew up on the Austrian border in Simbach am Inn in Lower Bavaria. She studied business administration in Ingolstadt and obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the US-American Kellogg School of Management.

Annette Mann brings with her a broad spectrum of management experience, which she has gained since 2003 in various strategic, conceptual or operational roles within the Lufthansa Group. Under her leadership, Lufthansa's current first-class offering was designed and implemented between 2004 and 2009, and the introduction of "Premium Economy" on over 100 long-haul aircraft was completed in 2015. Until 2020, Annette Mann was responsible for various product-related areas within the Lufthansa Group. As Vice President in Product Management, for example, she represented SWISS's product and service experience in Zurich. At the same time, she was responsible for the inflight & customer services of the group's network airlines and acted as a co-negotiator for the partial sale of LSG. She was able to demonstrate her leadership qualities with a team of over 400 employees, which was located in five companies of the airline group at eight locations worldwide. Most recently, she was responsible for the Corporate Responsibility area and in this role was responsible for the further development, management and implementation of a holistic and group-wide sustainability program.

Annette Mann has been CEO of Austrian Airlines since March 1, 2022. Her area of ​​responsibility includes Corporate Communications, Public Affairs & Corporate Responsibility, Human Resources, Business Development, Accounting & Treasury, Controlling, Purchasing & Infrastructure and Legal Affairs.

Dr. Andreas Bierwirth

Dr. Andreas Bierwirth did an apprenticeship in banking and completed his business administration studies in Münster. He received his doctorate at the Institute for Marketing (Prof. Meffert) in Münster.

The most important stations in his life include: Founding Managing Director of Germanwings (2002-2006), Head of Marketing & Miles & More (2006-2008), CCO and Co-CEO of Austrian Airlines (2008-2012), CEO Magenta Telekom (2012- 2022), Head of Retail Erste Bank Group (2022-2023) and now CEO Avcon Jet Group (2023-)

He was a member of the supervisory board at NED Easy Jet PLC (2013-2022), Austria Vienna (2012-2021), Telekom Deutschland (2015-2023), among others. He is currently chairman of the supervisory board of Do & Co AG (since 2020)

He is a member of the board of the European Forum Alpbach and a member of the Kitz Summit advisory board.

Dr. Andreas Brandstetter, MBA

Andreas Brandstetter has been CEO of UNIQA Insurance Group AG since July 1, 2011 and CEO of UNIQA Österreich Versicherungen AG since July 1, 2020.

He studied political science and history at the University of Vienna and completed his doctorate 1992-1994 at the University of California, San Diego. 1997-2002 Executive MBA at California State University, Hayward (CSUH/IMADEC).

Andreas Brandstetter was born in 1969 and grew up in Schönberg am Kamp (Lower Austria). Andreas Brandstetter lives in Vienna and is the father of three children.

DI Dr.in Sabine Herlitschka, MBA

Sabine Herlitschka has been the chairwoman of the board of Infineon Technologies Austria AG since April 2014.

Her career encompasses industrial biotech research, international research and technology cooperations and -funding. In addition, she completed internships at several renowned U.S. institutions, as well as being honored as a Fulbright scholarship recipient. She later served as the founding vice chancellor of the Medical University Graz.

Her numerous current positions include serving as the vice presidency of the Federation of Austrian Industry and the chairwomanship of the supervisory board of the FH Kärnten. On an wider European level, she was chairwoman of the governing board of the European public-private partnership (PPP), “ECSEL-Electric Components and Systems for European Leadership“, between 2018-2021.

Notably, in 2021, the business magazine “Trend” elected her Manager of the Year.

Sabine Herlitschka holds a doctorate in Food Science & Biotechnology, a Postdoc in Industrial Research and a Master of Business Administration.

MMag. Gerda Holzinger-Burgstaller

Gerda Holzinger-Burgstaller (43) has been the chairwoman of the board of Erste Bank Oesterreich since January 1, 2021. She is responsible for the departments of Retail, HR, Legal and Communications, as well as several others. Holzinger-Burgstaller possesses almost two decades of experience in the financial sector, including 16 years at Erste.

In July 2019, she was named CFO and CRO of Erste Bank Oesterreich. Previously, between 2011 and 2019 she held various leadership roles in the general administration team of Erste Group and supported the management team of Erste with company milestones. Several key milestones included the split-off of Erste Group, the increase of capital in 2013, and the issuance and redemption of participation capital of Erste Group. Before joining Erste Bank in 2006, Holzinger-Burgstaller launched her career at the Austrian Financial Market Supervision (FMA). In addition, between 2017 and 2019 she served on the board of the non-profit organisation „Die Zweite Wiener Vereins-Sparcasse“.

Holzinger-Burgstaller recieved her degree from Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU) and holds a double diploma in Economics (2003) and Law (2010).
