First Year: Foundations and Insights

In the first year of the program, you’ll build a solid foundation in marketing through courses like Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Global Marketing Strategy, while gaining practical insights with Qualitative Research and Business Software Skills. As you progress, the focus shifts to in-depth knowledge, including Consumer Psychology, Customer Value Management, and Retailing & Sales, alongside workshops and innovation-focused courses that prepare you for real-world challenges.

Second Year: Opportunities for Specialization & Going International

Choose to spend your third semester at one of WU’s 140 partner universities worldwide, broadening your international perspective and gaining valuable global experience. Alternatively, you can stay at WU and tailor your second year by selecting electives from three areas of specialization: Current Challenges in Digital Marketing, Marketing for a Better World, and Advanced Topics in Marketing. Many electives are joint projects with companies, offering you the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge and develop innovative, real-life business solutions.

Students have the opportunity to apply for our Double Degree Program with Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, where five students are chosen each year to spend their second year at Bocconi.
