SSC Semester Check-In on November 5, 2024
The winter semester is already in full swing and you still have questions?
We are happy to answer your questions. Join us for our SSC Semester Check-In with any study-related questions that are on your mind.
When: Tuesday, November 5, 2024, 02:00 p.m. – 05:00 p.m
Where: Library & Learning Center (LC), Forum (Consultation) & Gallery (Info sessions)
No registration required.
Feel free to join one or more of our info sessions (held in German only) on the following topics: "Transition into a master's program" (02:00 p.m.), "Get ready to write your bachelor's/master's thesis" (03:00 p.m.), "Finding a topic and a supervisor for your bachelor's thesis" (04:00 p.m.) and “Peer group: bachelor’s thesis” (05:00 p.m. – 07:00 p.m.).

Bachelor’s Students: New Application Process for Stays Abroad Starting This Fall
The application process for a semester abroad for bachelor’s students has changed starting this fall:
an “application sheet” instead of a motivation letter
choose three to seven partner universities with one application
joint application period for Europe and overseas at the beginning of December
second allocation round in January
The application process for BBE double degree program has also changed.
Familiarize yourself with the new application processes now. The International Office will be happy to help you with any questions.
Bachelor‘s & Master’s Students: Application Period for Special Programs
Bachelor’s students in the BBE program now have the chance to apply for a double degree program at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia.
The application process process has changed starting this fall
The exchange year begins three semesters after the successful application
Your bachelor’s program is extended by two semesters as a result
Master’s students studying “Marketing” „Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control“ or „Business Communication“ can apply for a double degree program. For students of “Business Law” the THEMIS program is available. You can find the list of exchange spots online, the exchange stays will take place during the academic year 2025/26.

The European Common Online Learning (ECOL) Initiative by WU Vienna and some partner universities offers online courses at bachelor level.

Bachelor’s Students: New Workshop “Interview Ready”
Prepare yourself in the best possible way for an interview that’s part of the new application procedure for an exchange semester by taking part in our brand new workshop: „Interview Ready: Prepare for Your Stay Abroad Application”. WU ZBP Career Center and the International Office will go through relevant content with you and give you tips on facial expressions, gestures, relaxation...
