Ways to recharge your batteries – Energy & Stress Management Basics

The pre-Christmas season can be particularly stressful. We still have a lot of tasks we’t like to tick off the to-do list and enter the holidays still in our stressed state. How quickly will we be able to switch off and relax properly? The pre-Christmas period is a good time to get an update on your own energy and stress management.

This in-person workshop, will begin with an introduction to stress management and then focus on the topic of "state shifting": how can I switch from activity mode to relax mode? We will also explore what regenerative activities are and how you can find out what works well for you.

Goals & Competencies
  • Two body metrics that influence your stress and relaxation levels
  • Breathing techniques to regulate your stress reaction
  • Embodied Yoga Principles for practicing "state shifting"
  • Which activities are regenerative?
  • Developing a personal list or toolbox for regenerative activities
