Research Institute for Spatial and Real Estate EconomicsRSS

Welcome!

The Research Institute for Spatial and Real Estate Economics deals with research questions in which (socio-)economic issues are analyzed from a spatial perspective. In particular, the focus is on challenges at the regional, urban, and rural level related to accessibility, infrastructure availability, mobility, housing and real estate. Cooperations across departments at the WU as well as numerous national and international cooperations, involving researchers as well as policy-makers and industry, ensure a diverse, interdisciplinary perspective on these challenges. The Research Institute is financed by third-party funds.

Associate Prof. PD Stefanie Peer Ph.D. is Head of the Research Institute for Spatial and Real Estate Economics, Associate Prof. Dr. Andreas Novy is Deputy Head of the Research Institute.
