Biographical Sketch

Schifteh Dohr-Hashemi joined the team as teaching and research associate (prae doc) at the Institute for Public Management and Governance at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business in September 2024. She completed her master's degree in Socioeconomics (2011) and her CEMS degree in International Management (2012) at WU Vienna, with study visits to Tel Aviv University and the University of St. Gallen. Prior to her current position at the Institute, she worked as a consultant in the field of strategy and innovation for the Future Health Lab in Vienna, she was policy advisor and later managing director of an Austria-wide NPO with a focus on social and labor market policy and parliamentary adviser for a political party. From 2017-2019, she was also a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten.

Research Interests

Her research interests include current issues and challenges of public health systems and health care management.
