A big welcome to our latest addition to the team: Eva Marckhgott has joined us as our new Assistant Professor. 

She earned a PhD in Social and Economic Sciences, an MSc in Marketing, and a BSc in International Business Administration, all at WU. Outside of academia, Eva has worked in market research and customer relationship management at REWE International and at Marketmind.

Eva is particularly devoted to ensuring that her research not only advances academic knowledge but also holds practical relevance for companies, organizations, and consumers. Some of her research interests include packaging, transparency in retail outlets and service spaces, promotional merchandise, and sustainable consumer behavior.

Eva is a dedicated and enthusiastic lecturer, always eager to share insights from her own research and industry expertise with her students. She received WU’s Innovative Teaching Award in 2021 and was nominated for the Ars Docendi – Staatspreis Exzellente Lehre in 2022.
