This was the Long Night of Research 2024 at WU

From artificial intelligence and social justice to the growth markets of the future: These were just some of the topics that could be explored hands-on at seven interactive research stations on May 24 as part of the Long Night of Research on Campus WU.

We, the Competence Center for EM & CEE, were represented with our own station this year. Selected research results and projects from the members of the Competence Center for Emerging Markets and CEE were presented, described and explained in a clear way.

Visitors to the station could learn which topics are particularly exciting and relevant from the perspective of WU researchers in relation to EM & CEE, how these topics can be investigated and whether there are specific solutions to the global challenges of our time.

They could also try out an interactive online quiz to test their knowledge of emerging economies such as Africa, Asia and Central/Eastern Europe. The winners were awarded great prizes from the WU Shop!
