  • 2004-2006: Rechtsreferendariat OLG München

  • 2006-2007: LL.M. Studium an der New York University School of Law als Hugo Grotius Scholar

  • 2007-2010: Rechtsanwältin in München

  • 2010-2020 Professorin (W 1) für Öffentliches Recht mit einem Schwerpunkt im Völkerrecht an der Universität Augsburg

  • 2017: Habilitation an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a.M., Verleihung der venia legendi für Öffentliches Recht, Völkerrecht und Europarecht

Frau Prof. Dr. Monika Polzin, LL.M. (NYU) wird am 6. Oktober 2023 auf der Staatsrechtslehrertagung in Bochum einen Vortrag zum Thema: „Supranationale und grenzüberschreitende Verwaltung – neuen Formen der Ausübung von Hoheitsgewalt“ halten.

As the notion of constitutional identity is both vague and glamorous at the
same time, it has found many followers, copyists and some dubious developers.
Therefore, it is essential to distinguish between generally legitimate uses of the
German concept of constitutional identity and illegitimate misuses of the idea
and notion.
