Lecture Series by Vienna Animal Studies Group

Bridging the gap between academia, activism, and public awareness. . .

We are delighted to announce an upcoming lecture series hosted by our colleagues at the Vienna Animal Studies Group (VAS)!

VAS is an interdisciplinary, cross-institutional group dedicated to advancing animal studies through research, engaging blog posts, and thought-provoking publications. Their goal is to bridge the gap between academia, activism, and public awareness, fostering a richer understanding of animals' lives.

As such, the lecture series is also relevant for various Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG14 "Life Below Water," SDG15 "Life on Land", and SDG11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities" (the hyperlinks lead to STaR SDG-Video series).
