Dissertation

Bachelor's and master's theses as well as dissertations are academic papers and, as such, adhere to certain academic and style criteria. The range and scope of a dissertation, however, go beyond that of both bachelor’s and master’s theses.

A dissertation, or doctoral thesis, is independent scientific work. Accordingly, the chosen research area as well as the answer given to an identified problem must constitute a decisive innovation and close an extant research gap.

Dissertations at the institute are currently supervised exclusively by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Renate Meyer in the context of research projects.
