Prof. Dominika Langenmayr is a full professor of economics, specializing in public finance, at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and a CESifo research fellow. She is also a guest professor at the Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation (DIBT) at WU Vienna. She earned her doctoral degree at the University of Munich in 2013 and has held visiting positions at Harvard University, the University of California San Diego, the University of Oxford, and the EU Tax Observatory at the Paris School of Economics. Additionally, she is a member of the academic advisory board of the German Federal Ministry of Finance and has served on the board of the International Institute for Public Finance.

Her research focuses on corporate taxation, tax-induced distortions in firm behavior, international tax transparency, and tax enforcement. She has made significant contributions to the understanding of profit shifting by multinational firms, the tax treatment of losses, and the effects of tax policies on firm productivity and investment. Beyond academia, she is actively engaged in public debates on tax policy. Her expertise has been featured in major media outlets, including Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Handelsblatt, and Der Spiegel, as well as in radio and television interviews with broadcasters such as ARD, ZDF, and BBC Radio 4.
