At the „Afternoon Tea Chat“ Prof. Whited answered junior female scholar's questions and gave many interesting insights into her academic career.

She discussed how she had to deal with challenges in her field and how she successfully transitioned from economics to finance. She particularly addressed questions about her career as a woman in academia. Prof. Whited also talked about her experience as an editor and gave tips on how to publish in leading journals.
