Below is the general process to follow when writing a bachelor thesis at our institute:

1. Make sure you comply with the regulations to write your bachelor thesis.

2. Contact your desired supervisor at the Institute and ask for the availability.

3. Formally apply (Online Application) and be sure to include all relevant information (CV and the transcript of records (the second SBWL, if available)).

4. Arrange an initial conversation with your supervisor to discuss your desired topic.

5. Start screening the literature, and write a research proposal (incl. milestones) of your bachelor thesis. The proposal should be approximately three pages.

6. Submit your research proposal to the supervisor.

7. In the case of a positive evaluation of your proposal, you will be officially registered and notified by email to your WU account.

8. Start working on your bachelor thesis and be sure to contact your supervisor periodically to discuss the process.

9. Finalize your thesis and discuss final issues with your supervisor. Incorporate the feedback and get approval from the supervisor.

10. Submit your thesis electronically on Learn@WU and receive the evaluation within four weeks after the submission.
