Ing. Tobias Holzinger, M.Sc., MBA

Tobias Holzinger is a Research Associate at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna).

Before joining the E&I team in 2023, Tobias completed his MBA with a focus on Strategic Management at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). In addition, he holds a master’s degree in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control (SIMC), as well as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specializations in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Strategy & Managerial Accounting from WU Vienna.

Tobias has extensive experience in the start-up ecosystem as the Co-Founder and CEO of the Viennese social start-up LeadMe. His professional journey includes besides his academic positions as a Research Assistant at UTS Sydney and Student Assistant at WU Vienna, various IT-related roles in both the public and private sectors, enhancing his diverse skill set.

Currently, in addition to his role as a Research Associate, Tobias serves as the Head of IT for the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service, and Sport.
