Ealier this month, Mariella Schultes attended the VHB course „Qualitative Research Methods” held at TU Hamburg. The course has expanded her qualitative methodological knowledge and provided her with tools she can employ in her dissertation. The course was also a great change for her to network with PhD students from other universities and exchange about their research topics. It was a special honor for her to meet Prof. Dr. Philipp Mayring, who co-developed qualitative content analysis and gain insights into application from him. E&I team members regularly attend international courses to improve the methodological skills and network with other researchers.
